LSEC is an international IT – & Information Security cluster, a not for profit organization that promotes Information Security and the expertise in Europe. Founded by KU Leuven in 2002 together with innovative information security companies and supported by the Flemish Community, the Belgian Government and the European Commission and leading PAN-European Private partnerships that interacts with Public Institutions, LSEC connects security experts, research institutes and universities, government agencies, end users, funding bodies and technical experts who are driving European research agendas. LSEC activities aim to raise cyber security awareness, support innovation and improve the competitiveness of the Digital Security market.
